The content of watercolor works by Elmira is beauty. Watercolors are performed easily and, as it may seem at first glance – just a masterly use of whitening. The watercolors are not limited to the possibility of working with color, and the color and flavor – her main instruments. She works wonderfully diverse. Landscapes as if magically illuminated by inner light. With such a variety, reached in her favorite watercolors, she works in other techniques likewise, and further expands the boundaries of beauty in her art.

E. Mustafina has progressed her technique of oil painting. At the next visit to the ancient city of Bolgar, the artist created a series of paintings dedicated to the Great Bolgaria with a very complicated technique using gold and silver Dutch foil. In these works, where fragility and lightness of the thinnest sheets are perfectly combined with a multi-layer beautiful coat of paint, passes the atmosphere of bright, almost mirroring world, against which many facets of ancient architecture are revealed. Picture varies depending on the viewing angle. Few artists use this option in the painting. Although, it is worth noting that the bold experiments the painter were highly marked by St. Petersburg collectors and art critics. Works from this series are stored in many private collections around the world.
