In Tashkent, within the framework of celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the Republican International Cultural Center (RICC), in the first half of the day the Republican scientific-practical conference on the theme “Independence of Uzbekistan – a new stage in the development of international relations” was held. The conference was attended by government representatives, prominent scholars, diplomats, and other officials. At the conference, director of RICC Muhammadiev N.M. presented the book-album “Uzbekistan – our common home”, which includes information and photos about the activities of national cultural centers of the republic.

The same day, the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts, the winners of the VI Festival of Friendship “Uzbekistan – our common home” were awarded, and the opening of the exhibition of fine art, photos, and folk crafts took place. Tatar public cultural and educational center (TPCEC) of Tashkent city was awarded a diploma for the best national holiday -Sabantui. Presented at the exhibition exhibits widely demonstrated the activities of national cultural centers in the republic, and everyday life of the peoples and nationalities of Uzbekistan.

The same day, at the International Forums Palace “Uzbekistan” a solemn meeting and a gala concert was held with the participation of art masters and art collectives of national cultural centers, who presented their colorful items. Tatar public cultural and educational center of Tashkent with the vocal and choreographic composition presented Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan Haldarova F., Honored worker of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, chevalier of the order “Dustlik” Baimurzina R. , vocal-choreographic vocal ensemble “Duslyk”.

The festive event was attended by government officials, MPs, diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan Tyurdenev V.L., representative of Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan Shulika V.N., representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan Shakirov R.A., prominent scientists, figures of culture and art, leading the country’s media, chairmen and activists of national cultural centers in Uzbekistan, including Tatars from Tashkent, Yangiyul, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Karshi, Fergana.
