A contest dedicated to the life and work of Gabdulla Tukai has been announced in the Chelyabinsk region

The “Congress of Tatars of the Chelyabinsk Region” and the Regional Public Organization “The Union of Journalists of the Chelyabinsk Region” announce the launch of a regional competition for the best journalistic work of 2019 dedicated to the life and work of Gabdulla Tukai.

Participants submit articles, interviews,  reports, essays and other journalistic materials that reveal the personality, work and historical and cultural significance of Gabdulla Tukai, published in print, on websites, broadcast on television and radio, posted on the Internet since 1 January 2019 to March 31, 2019.

The language of the work is Russian or Tatar.

Winners are awarded cash prizes.
