Fifteen years of the publication of the Omsk newspaper “Tatar World”

The first issue of the newspaper was published in December 2003. Since that time, it has contributed to the preservation and development of the distinctive culture, language and traditions of the Tatar people.

“Around the publication  talented, enthusiastic people promoting traditional spiritual values, making a significant contribution to the friendship between different ethnic groups living on Omsk land, have united”, noted Radmila Martynova, director of the department of public relations and social policy.

The number of readers is growing every year. Indeed, according to the editor-in-chief of the newspaper, Diana Edinyakova, the publication seeks to reflect all aspects of the cultural and social life of the Tatars of Omsk, the Omsk Region and other regions.
