Ilham Aby Shakirov went into immortality

Tatars and Bashkirs of Uzbekistan are asking to convey their condolences to  families, friends and the entire Tatar public. For us, since childhood, Ilham Aby was the heart and soul of a Tatar song and connected us with Tatarstan and reminded us who we were, and was a bridge connecting us with our past and our ancestors. The songs performed by him were equally accepted by the Tatars and Bashkirs, and in these moments they might even forget to consider themselves as different peoples.

The earthly path of everyone once ends and Ilham Aby, too, but his immortality begins with this. May Allah forgive earthly wrongs, take him in peace and calm his restless soul, and we will always remember him and sing his songs.
