The World Tatar Congress and the Society of Tatar regional historians of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of departments and public organizations in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan hold the All-Russian scientific-practical, historical-local history conference “Ethno-tourism and local history in the Tatar world: current state and prospects.”
Today, conference participants arrived in Kazan. The event began with the opening of the Ethnographic Museum in the Tatar gymnasium №15 in Kazan. Also on the basis of the school was held a seminar on the theme “The role of ethnographic museums in the formation of national identity”.
The scientific forum is held in preparation for the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, according to the work plan of the Executive Committee of the CGT and the ROO “Society of Tatar regional historians of the Republic of Tajikistan”.
Today, sectional works will also be held at three sites:
- Ethnotourism in the Tatar world: current state, trends and development prospects
- Regional studies in Tatarstan and regions of the Russian Federation and the development of ethno-tourism.
- Participation of museums and secondary schools in the development of ethno-tourism.
