Gaisha Abdrakhmanovna Rakhmankulova began her professional career in the first day of the Great Patriotic War: June 22, 1941, she defended her diploma of Kazan art school. Her first projects were the slogans for recruiting centers and industrial facilities, design of collective farm village, reading rooms , portrait sketches the women workers of rear. In the postwar years, Gaisha Rakhmankulova worked in easel painting and participated in national and Russian exhibitions .

для афиши 1In the early 1960s, the artist turned to watercolors, to reveal her talent with great fullness . Watercolor compositions of Rakhmankulova devoted to a variety of topics. Her range of genres includes landscape, still life, portrait , domestic picture. Heroes of her works – people of different professions and lives. Among them – the images of the Tatar culture. In general, the art of Gaisha Rakhmankulova permeated with light , positive energy , it has a lot of air, impressionistic experience for which there is strong professional school .

для афиши 4Gaisha Rakhmankulova – Tatar first lady artist , who became a member of the Artists’ Union of Tatarstan (1942). She became the first representative of the Tatar ASSR at All-Union Exhibition of watercolors in Moscow.

The exhibition presents 48 watercolor paintings from the collection of Gaisha Rakhmankulova from collection of RT State Museum of Fine Arts and private collections and is timed to the 100th anniversary of the master.

The exhibition runs until August 15, 2014.
