February 20,  the House of Culture in the   village of  Bekovo the Belovo District of Kemerovo region  will hold the regional championship on national wrestling Koresh   among  youth, dedicated to the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union Alexei Semenovich Chetonov  and 85th anniversary of the municipal district Belovo.

This tournament   has been  held in the Kemerovo region since  2007.

The organizers of the championship: The Department of Sports and Youth Policy of the Kemerovo region, a regional public organization “Koresh Federation of the  Kemerovo region” Regional public organization “The Kemerovo Federation  of preserving  the national sports culture of minor  nations”, the Administration of Belovo municipal district Office of Physical Culture, Sport and youth policy  of the  Belovsky  municipal district.

To pit themselves against each other  boys  of  17-18 and 15-16 years will arrive in Bekovo. The championship will be attended by more than 80 athletes (10 weight categories) from 11 towns and districts of the Kemerovo region. The organizers expect that the event will be visited by about 200 spectators and fans, informs  according to  newsletter from   the president of the Koresh  Federation  of the   Kemerovo region  L.R. Fetisov and vice-president of Federation of Koresh the Kemerovo Region and chief  judge M.V. Yasakov.

The  village   of  Bekovo – one of the largest villages in the district Belovo of the  Kemerovo region, populated mainly the Teleuts, located approximately 130 kilometers south of the Kemerovo regional center.
