The chairman of the board of the regional Tatar national-cultural autonomy “Madaniyat” Radik Minikhanov summed up the results of the large-scale event that took place in Omsk from  March 23 to 25.  «Madaniyat»  acted as one of the organizers of the forum.

 

According to Minikhanov,  having implemented  this forum,   the  Omsk Tatars were assessed at the highest state level, since the event was supported by the Presidential Grants Fund. For the Omsk region, Minikhanov said, the past event will be a kind of reboot in relations with other subjects, both in terms of national and cultural ties, and in business relations.

 

“Days of Tatar culture were held with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. That is, we – the Tatars living in the Omsk region – were highly appreciated and given the opportunity to implement the project. Thanks to it, we attracted not only Tatars from the city and the region, but there also have  come from 12 regions of Russia. 140 official delegates were registered, plus about 10 thousand people visited the event.

 

Of course, the Omsk region, this event gives some reloading  in the relationship with other subjects. In addition to national-cultural relations, we are also developing business ones. So, within the framework of the Days of Tatar Culture, a forum of Tatar entrepreneurs was held. And I must say that the Omsk region is really very interesting for them. Therefore, this is a real chance to prove ourselves not only within the framework of national and cultural traditions, but also investments and economic interrelations, “Radik Minikhanov said to the correspondent of SuperOmsk.

 

The interlocutor stressed that the leadership of the Omsk region understands that Tatarstan is now one of the flagships of the economy. Therefore, the delegation that arrived in Omsk really had a lot to learn.

 

The chairman of the board of the regional Tatar national-cultural autonomy “Madaniyat” Minikhanov was awarded a letter of gratitude from the State Duma Committee on Nationalities Affairs for his contribution to strengthening interethnic relations and the ethno-cultural development of the peoples of Russia.
