Sergei Morozov: “I serve Russia, I serve the Tatar people”

Today, on February 28, the Deputy Prime Minister of RT, the Chairman of the National Council of the World Tatar Congress Vasil Shaikhraziev is on a working visit to Ulyanovsk.

In the Center of Tatar culture of the Ulyanovsk region the chairman of the National Council held a seminar-meeting with the leaders of the Tatar public organizations of the Volga Federal District.

At the end of the meeting, Vasil Shaykhraziyev, on behalf of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars, handed the highest award to  Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergei Morozov – the medal for contribution to the development of the Tatar people, to which the governor of the region expressed his big gratitude. Sergei Morozov also asked to consider the possibility of holding Federal Sabantuy on Ulyanovsk land in the city of Dimitrovgrad in 2022 to the 100th anniversary of the Soviet Union. The Governor concluded his speech with the words: “I serve Russia, I serve the Tatar people”.
