The 10th jubilee  of  All-Russian  Village  Sabantui will be held in Samara

On June 29, the village of Kamyshla of the Samara oblast will become the center of  All-Russian   holiday. The All-Russia Village  Sabantuy is held spearheaded by  the World Tatar Congress and with the support of the President of Tatarstan and the Governor of the Samara region. According to preliminary calculations, several thousand people from 30 regions of the country will take part in the 10th All-Russian Rural Sabantuy, including the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov, Governor of the Samara Region D.I. Azarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the CGT VG Shayhraziyev and other guests of honor.

 

It is expected that the national homesteads of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Samara Region will unfold prior the  Sabantuy in Kamyshl. Tatarstan will   be represented by  the Kukmorsky municipal district.

 

Traditionally, the participants and guests of the Tatar national holiday will organize an interesting concert program and a competition for the national wrestling  koresh, which will be attended by the best batyrs from all over Russia. On the sports grounds, everyone will be able to test themselves in other national contests.

The first All-Russian village  Sabantuy was held in 2010 in the village of Alkino, Samara Region. Subsequent All-Russian holidays were held in the village  Shygyrdan (Chuvashia), Dubrovka (Chelyabinsk region),  Barda (Perm Territory),  Malye Chapurniki (Volgograd region), the village of Tatarskaya Kargala (Orenburg region), the village of Staraya Kulatka (the Ulyanovsk region), the village Mednaya Yeluzan (Penza region) and  the village Almenevo (Kurgan region).
