The concert by   dance ensemble “Kazan” in Bukhara was sold out

Tour of the Kazan dance ensemble has  begun in Uzbekistan. They are held with the support of  President of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan and Uzbekistan. Artistic director of the dance ensemble “Kazan” is the People’s Artist of Tatarstan Chulpan Zakirova.

On October 3, the first concert of the Kazan collective  was held at the State Musical Drama Theater of Bukhara with a full house. Among the audience were children, young people and adults. The concert was also attended by representatives of the government of Bukhara. Compatriots gathered in the hall, each exit by  artists was  greeted with a great warmth and gave artists a round of applause.

– We were looking forward to this concert with great impatience, come to us more often. You gave us real pleasure, spiritual joy. For this we are grateful to the President of Tatarstan. We convey warm greetings to our people, – the Tatars of Uzbekistan shared their impressions after the concert.

According to them, about 12 thousand Tatars live in the Bukhara region and in the city of Bukhara.  Tatar-Bashkir center is working. Head of the Center is Ravil Tuktarov.
