The exposition is dedicated to the upcoming anniversary – the 100th anniversary of the founding of the TASSR.

Today, in the center of the Hermitage-Kazan State Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Preserve Kazan Kremlin, a grand opening of a large-scale art exhibition of Tatar artists from St. Petersburg called «Invisible Ties» with the Motherland   has taken place. The exhibition was opened with the support of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. The exposition is dedicated to the upcoming anniversary – the 100th anniversary of the founding of the TASSR.

Eleven artists presented at the exhibition more than 40 paintings and graphic works on the themes “Little Homeland”, “Call of the Ancestors”, “Invisible Ties”, which for many years were reflected in their works. Each work of the authors is a work that conveys a spiritual connection with the small Motherland, with Tatarstan, and all that is deeply familiar and remained in the memory since childhood. This is a link with the traditions of the family, the culture of the Tatar people. At the exhibition it is felt that all the authors of the works, and each of them, put into the pictures a part of their soul, their heart and thrill, thus showing love for common roots.

From June 11 to July 14, everyone will be able to look at dozens of works by their countrymen, Tatar artists from the Northern capital, dedicated to their native Tatarstan.
