The festival “Ural Sandugachy” is also a regional qualifying round of the International television contest “Tatar mony “.

The festival “Ural sandugachy” (“Ural nightingale”) will be held in Yekaterinburg on March 30-31.

In order to develop and mutually enrich national cultures, identify new talents in the genre of pop and folk songs, establish creative contacts with performers living in other regions of Russia and foreign countries, at the capital of the Middle Urals in Yekaterinburg an annual Interregional Festival of Tatar Song Performers ” Ural Sandugachy “(” The Urals Nightingale “)   will be held.

The festival “Ural Sandugachy” is also a regional qualifying round of the International television contest “Tatar mony “.

In 2018, the first qualifying round of the International TV Contest “Tatar mony” for participants of the Urals and Siberia will be held on March 30-31, 2018 in the framework of the Open Interregional Festival of Tatar Song Performers “Ural Sandugachy” (“Ural Nightingale”). We remind  that in 2017, according to the decision of the jury, 4 vocalists were selected for participation in the contest “Tatar mony”: Kalmykova-Barkhitdinova Elvina (Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sverdlovsk region), Tsypysheva Gulnaz (Ufa), Nugayev Ilnur (Ekaterinburg) Kutluyeva Liana (Ekaterinburg) and instrumentalist Alexander Puzakov (Mikhailovsk, Sverdlovsk region). The jury consisted of Honored Artists of Tatarstan Vil Usmanov, Farida Akhmetshina, Alsu Sungatullina, laureate of the International Television Competition “Tatar Mony” Ainur Muratov.

The contest “Tatar mony” has been held since 2009. Among its goals – the promotion of the Tatar folk song and works of Tatar composers, the introduction of young people to national cultural values, the identification and support of talented young performers, the development of their creative potential.

Along with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic, the Fund for Support of Cultural Development under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan,  the WCT Executive Committee, the TVC “New Century”, KazGIK and the Salavat Stage Theater are also among the organizers of the contest.

Every year “Tatar mony” opens dozens of new names of performers of folk songs and works of classics of Tatar music culture, including Rishat Tukhvatullin, Marcel Vagizov, Arthur Islamov, Ilyus Khuzina, Alina Prokofieva, Aigul Saginbaeva, Irek Fattakhov and others, noted in the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan .
