From July, 18 till  22,  in Barnaul  city   the All-Russia festival “Shukshinsky days on Altai” will   take part. In the program of the film festival more than 30 main events are announced. This year, the delegation of Russian cinematographers is represented by well-known theater and film actors, directors and producers Lyudmila Gladunko, Sergei Solovyov, Alena Babenko, Anatoly Chizhikov, Yulia Peresild, Anna Mathison and others. The jury chairman of the All-Russian Shukshin Film Festival is People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, screenwriter, film director, playwright, actor, writer, TV host Viktor Merezhko. By the way, his new film “We did not wait” will become a film-opening of the film festival. The special guest of the festival will be  chairman of the Board of the Fund “Formula of Success” named after Vasily Shukshin, the granddaughter of Vasily Shukshin Anna Shukshina.

In total, the contest program of the XIX All-Russian Shukshinsky Film Festival included 10 films. Among them is the film by  young Tatarstan director Rustam Rashitov “Unsent Letters”, based on the works by  Tatar writer Adel Kutui.
