Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaikhraziev held a business meeting with the heads of regional departments of the WCT. Representatives of the Ak Kalfak public organization of Tatar women and youth wing activists were also invited to the meeting.

As Vasil Shaikhraziev noted, these meetings will be held quarterly, and specific issues and tasks relating to the activities of the World Tatar Congress will be put on the agenda. During the meeting, the first deputy head of the WCT Danis Shakirov,  head of the public organization of Tatar women Ak Kalfak Kadriya Idrisova,  chairman of the World Forum of Tatar Youth Tabris Yarullin spoke to the assembled activists. At the end of the meeting,  Chairman of the National Council announced the upcoming events, namely, the “Forum of Tatar Religious Figures”, the celebration of “Izg Bolgar Kyuena”, Sabantuy and encouraged to take an active part in them.

The meeting was held at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
