Vasil Shaikhraziev took part in the opening of the Inter-regional All-Russian competition for the Sverdlovsk region cup in the national wrestling “Kuresh”. Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, chairman of the National Council of the World Tatar Congress, is in Yekaterinburg on a working visit.
Competitions are held in the framework of the All-Russian festival of combat sport and martial arts, dedicated to the Day of National Unity. Wrestlers from Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Mordovia, Perm Territory, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Orenburg regions gathered in the tournament, which takes place in the Palace of games-based sports of Yekaterinburg.
Vasil Shaikhraziev welcomed the participants and guests of the Tournament and conveyed warm greetings from the Republic of Tatarstan. He expressed gratitude to the wrestlers who are engaged in this national kind as well as the organizers of the tournament. And he urged the wrestlers to take part and show themselves at the Federal Sabantuy, which will be held in 2019 in the city of Novosibirsk, at the All-Russian Rural Sabantuy, which will be held in the Kamyshlinsky district of the Samara region. And also to compete for the main prize during the Sabantuy of villages on the banks of the river Ik.
Vasil Shaikhraziyev also presented letters of appreciation to the coaches of the Kuresh national team of the Sverdlovsk region Salimyan Minniakhmetov and Farit Minniakhmetov.
