Chairman of the executive committee of the WCT Rinat Zakirov congratulated on behalf of the World Congress of Tatars has congratulated the Olympic athletes who have Tatar roots, with a glorious victory at the XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Guzel Manyurova (wrestling), Kazakstan, 2nd place

Elvin Karimov (water polo), the Russian Federation, 3rd place

Anna Rizatdinova (rhythmic gymnastics), Ukraine, 3rd place
