The Tatar ethnic and cultural association”Bulgar” held a literary-musical evening dedicated to the life and work of Hero of the Soviet Union, a Laureate of Lenin award, the warrior –anti-fascist Musa Jalil.
– This year we celebrated the 70th anniversary of the death of Musa Jalil. The event was attended by military servicemen of m/u 6656, as well as students of Mangistau Tourism College – says Zulfiya Berneeva, chairman of TECA “Bulgar”.
Throughout the evening Tatar folk music sounded , excerpts from the opera and symphonic poem dedicated to M. Jalil , the music to the songs on his words and, of course, verses of Tatar poet.
There were no indifferent. Some poems caused smile, some laugh, some sadness, tears. The purpose has been achieved. We wanted not only to acquaint participants with works of the poet, but to make young people think of terrible, intolerable conditions, with a clear awareness of the inevitability of his own death, poetry was created, full of life, light, goodness and love. We must learn not only to appreciate every day of peace, granted to us by our grandparents, but also to do everything possible to preserve it – Zulfiya Berneeva says.
In conclusion of literary evening, by moment of silence all those who died during the Great Patriotic War were honored.
