The short feature film “Gyushik almasy” (“Apple of Love”, directed by F. Zinatullin) entered the main program Golden Triangle International Film Festival (International Golden Triangle Film Festival), which takes place in the Indian city of Bhubaneswar from 9 to 14 February 2018.
For a year and a half this is the fifth festival by number, the selectors of which liked the work by the Tatarstan filmmakers. In the past, 2017, the audience could see the spectators of Yerevan, the cities of Crimea and Moscow.
The main character of the film, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, who through his whole life carried sincere feelings to the perished girl, was played by the national writer and playwright Rabit Batulla. In the role of his beloved actress Gulnara Mullanurova.
The script for the film was written based on one of the works by R. Batulla, the famous film director Farid Davletshin. “Gyushik diamonds” became the first directorial work by the deserved artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Firuza Zinatullina and the first producer experience of the feature film by the famous Kazan journalist Natalia Topal.
The debut work has received positive reviews not only from the audience, but also from professionals. Film Director, Associate Professor of the Film Directing Department of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography after S.A. Gerasimov (VGIK) Vladimir Tumayev during the International Film Festival “Radiant Angel” (Moscow, 2017) noted that “a sincere picture from Kazan -” Apple of Love “will find its viewer.”
A member of the jury of the All-Russian festival “The Man Who Knows the World” (Crimea, 2017), the director, cameraman and scriptwriter Sergei Mokritsky particularly marked the camera work. The debutant in the cinema – photographer Mikhail Sokolov also acted as the production director of the film.
Golden Triangle International Film Festival (International Golden Triangle Film Festival) presents the best achievements of national and international cinema in the territory of the Indian state. In addition to the shows, the festival creates a platform for discussions, cooperation, special events and master classes.
