Atninsky Theater will present in Moscow a premiere production based on the play by Said Shakurov
On March 5, the premiere of the dramatic production of “Tugan Tufrak” (Native land) will take place on the stage of the Moscow Music Hall. The play is timed to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Tatar dramatist Sayid Shakurov.
The plot of the play is based on the fate of Galina and Arslan. They, having met during the war in the territory of Ukraine, returned to their homeland, to Tatarstan. In Ukraine, once her first love, Igor, who was engaged to Galina, remains, who eventually moves to Kazan. Arslan and Galina, like everyone else, are working to restore the kolkhoz in the post-war years. Galina believes that her homeland is where her husband is. Is war only to blame for the tragic intertwining of human destinies? Turning to the fate of women in the postwar years, the playwright in a special way makes you think about patriotism and duty, love and loyalty.
The director of the production is Honored art worker of the Republic of Tatarstan Ramil Fazliev.
