Consultations on Tatar and Nogai cultures were held in Astrakhan

On January 25, within the framework of classes at  the “School of National Cultures of Peoples of the Astrakhan Region”, the regional scientific and methodical center of folk culture organized thematic consultations on the topic “Vocal and choreographic traditions, instrumental traditions of the Tatar and Nogai peoples”

Experts from the Astrakhan Region and the Republic of Tatarstan held consultations in several areas:

– “Features of choreography in the Tatars and Nogais.” Choreographer of the Astrakhan State Song and Dance Ensemble, teacher of folk dance at the Astrakhan College of Culture and Art   Lyudmila Sursina.

– “Vocal traditions of the Tatars”. Winner of international and All-Russian competitions, soloist of the State Ensemble of Song and Dance of the Republic of Tatarstan Farida Shaikhutdinova.

– “Instrumental traditions of the Tatars”. Winner of international and All-Russian competitions, soloist of the state ensemble of song and dance of the Republic of Tatarstan Marcel Vakhitov.

– “Vocal traditions of Nogais”. Head of the folk folk ensemble “Doslyk” of the Volga region Zunfir Murzaliev.
