On November 15, within the framework of the Days of Uzbekistan in Kazan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation organized an exhibition of commodity producers in Uzbekistan, as well as the Uzbek- Tatar business forum with participation of business circles of the two countries.
The delegation of business circles of Uzbekistan took an active part in the 32nd specialized exhibition of goods of light and textile industry “Fashion and Style. Kazan – Autumn “, which is one of the main events of the Republic of Tatarstan for the promotion of textile and light industry products to the market, establishment and strengthening of business cooperation, demonstration of fashion trends of the autumn-winter season, within which an exhibition of commodity producers of Uzbekistan was organized. More than 80 enterprises of light, textile and leather industries of the Republic of Uzbekistan presented their collective exposition at the exhibition.
This year, more than 120 companies from 12 regions of Russia and CIS countries and other countries took part in the exhibition, which will present a wide range of products of the “Autumn-Winter 2017/2018” season.
On November 15, within the framework of the exhibition, a business forum and cooperation exchange took place with the participation of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, heads of enterprises of textile and light industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Over 80 Uzbek enterprises engaged in the textile, clothing, food and tourism industries took part in the event.
The business forum discussed long-term prospects of Tatarstan-Uzbek cooperation in the light and textile industry, and bilateral agreements will be signed.
It should be noted that these events were held in accordance with the agreements reached at the end of the Uzbek-Tatar business forum organized in the framework of the visit of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. R.Minnikhanov to the Republic of Uzbekistan on September 25, 2017.
On November 16, there will be business meetings of suppliers and buyers of light and textile goods “Purchases in Kazan”, where the exhibitors will be able to present their products to general directors and purchasing managers on the basis of which new products will appear on the shelves of Kazan stores.
