April 7, in city of Brno, Czech Republic, an extended board meeting of “European Alliance of Tatars” has began its work. The event is attended by 50 people from 17 European countries. The meeting was welcomed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Hetman of South Moravia Michal Hašek, the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Brno Alexandr Budaev, the Russian Foreign Ministry officer Nikolai Barabanov.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the participants for their efforts to preserve the language, culture, national traditions in their countries of residence and wished successful work to the meeting.

In the extended meeting of the participating takes part chairman of executive committee of the World Congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov.
