Governor Dmitry Azarov holds a working meeting with Mufti of the Samara Region

On Wednesday, January 9, Governor of the Samara Region, Dmitry Azarov, held a meeting with Chairman of the Regional Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Samara Region, Talip Khazrat Yarullin. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the confession, heads of regional departments.
Starting the meeting, Dmitry Azarov noted that close cooperation with representatives of all faiths is predetermined by geographical location of the region, it is necessary to create conditions for development of the Samara region, to enhance rich traditions of friendship between the peoples who live in the oblast.
“The contribution of the spiritual administration here is simply impossible to overestimate, and I expect that our constructive cooperation will continue in the coming years,” Head of the region emphasized.
Talip hazrat Yarullin, in turn, thanked the Governor for mutual understanding and fruitful cooperation with all faiths.
The parties discussed plans for cooperation in 2019, implementation of joint socially significant projects, including holding of cultural and religious events, reconstruction of historical heritage sites.
