On November 21, the  monument to  Mother was unveiled  on Syuyumbike Street in Aznakaevo. The ceremony was attended by the head of the district Marcel Shaydullin and local residents. The author of the sculpture is a member of the Union of Artists of Tatarstan Rasim Sharifullin. His monumental works adorn the streets of many cities of the republic.

Last year, a project to improve the central street became the winner of the All-Russian contest of projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements. The public organization of Tatar women “Ak kalfak” of the Aznakaevsky district took the initiative to create a monument in honor of the mother. During the public discussion of the project, they decided to install the sculpture on the street, named after Queen Suyumbike, who became the personification of spirituality, purity and faith of the Tatar people.
