During the May holidays, Kazan will host a gastronomic festival. Its essence is to acquaint visitors with the national Tatar cuisine.
According to Chairman of the Development Assistance Committee of the Executive Committee of Kazan tourism Evgenia Lodwigova, a number of Kazan restaurants Kazan take part in a festival. From May 1 to 12, they will arrange interesting programs to promote national Tatar cuisine.
“For example, on May 1 – the day of echpochmak. On this day in an entertainment complex “Tugan avylym” a record for the largest manufacturing echpochmak in the world will be set. To join this and taste a piece of record baking can all Kazaners and visitors, “- Evgenia Lodwigova said.
