From October 4 to October 13, 2018 in the Republic of Uzbekistan there will be again concerts by the Russian ensemble of dance “Kazan” – the national heritage of the modern Republic of Tatarstan. The spectators of the cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Navoi will enjoy the rhythms of the enchanting program “Dances of the Peoples of the World”, which was already greeted with great warmth by the spectators of Uzbekistan several years ago.
This year’s performances will be held, thanks to the personal support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the personal invitation of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The peoples of Tatarstan and Uzbekistan have long maintained close cultural ties, having common traditions and values.
The level of theatrical costumes of the Ensemble is extremely high. They charm with airiness, colorful harmony, elegance and special sensuality. In real leather, brocade, silk and fur, traditional national jewelry, there is a certain epic that is necessary for the stage embodiment of the idea, which serves the desire to explain to ourselves and the world the history of different peoples of the world and our present understanding of it.
The ensemble with unchanging success toured in many cities of Russia and the world. For today, the ensemble has already visited Malta, Taiwan, Spain, Malaysia, Tunisia, Turkey, Italy, Greece, Australia, France, Switzerland with its program, welcoming the enthusiastic reception by grateful spectators everywhere.
The ensemble was created in 1996, the artistic director of the ensemble is People’s Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Chulpan Zakirova. The basis of the collective is a highly professional ballet company – graduates of the choreographic schools and the Institute of Culture of the Russian Federation. At the moment, the staff of the team employs more than 50 ballet dancers and 18 orchestra artists. The ballet troupe works in three directions at once: folk, step and modern. And all these directions successfully coexist among themselves.
Artists are subject to dizzying rhythms and multi-color dance of the peoples of the world, in which folk dance traditions are organically intertwined with modern methods of choreography. Inspired, lyrical or hurricane in a burst of emotions Russian, Spanish, Irish, Gypsy dances conquer the technique of performance and their energy. But, which is very important for the ensemble, it is able to convey to the viewer the power and uniqueness of that amazing national culture that arose over 1000 years on the banks of the Volga.
