Minnikhanov rebuked the Russian government in the absence of specifics on national projects

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov rebuked the federal authorities in the absence of clear co-financing of national projects. Successful implementation of projects is possible only if there are specific targets and financial support in strict accordance with the established norms of co-financing. Minnikhanov said this at a meeting with the participation of the presidential envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov.
“I would like to identify some issues that have not yet found a complete understanding. The level of co-financing is approved by the government, it is not fully approved. If we take the level of co-financing, until 2019 the ratio was 58 percent to 42 percent. Today, this figure has changed, the level of co-financing has been set at 81 percent to 19 percent; however, federal ministries vary this figure from 50 percent to 81 percent, ”the RIA Novosti quotes RT President.
- Minnikhanov noted that it is necessary to clearly outline what the level of co-financing of projects by the federal center and regions should be. As a result, there will be no free interpretation in this matter. He stressed that the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan has already been formed taking into account the level of 81% to 19%.
The President of Tatarstan pointed to two national projects, which in his opinion are not fully developed, – “Safe and high-quality roads” and “Digital economy”.
“We estimate that national projects are a strategic task for any region, including Tatarstan. It is very significant that they cover all aspects of regional life. We understand the responsibility, and we will carry out the tasks set by the president, ”said RT President R. Minnikhanov.
