More than 100 Tatar books are presented at the old book fair in Leipzig

In Leipzig, at the well-known exhibition-sale of printed publications – “Leipzig book fair”, for the first time the Tatar book publishing house presented its publications.

 

The Leipzig Fair has started on March 15 and will run until March 18, 2018. In the exposition, the first of which was held in the 17th century, and in the 18th century turned the city into the center of the second-hand book trade of Germany, publishers of different countries of the world traditionally take part.

 

Tatarstan participates in the exhibition due to the fact that the Tatars living in Germany, voiced the desire to have Tatar literature in Germany, including novelties and bestsellers, during the working visit of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to Leipzig.

 

The Tatar book publishing house presented at the exhibition more than a hundred different genre publications: prose, poetry, children’s, historical and local history literature, illustrated albums, dictionaries in Tatar, Russian, English and other languages.
