On December 12, 2018, an international scientific-practical conference “Revival of national literatures in the second half of the 20th century and Chingiz Aitmatov” will take place in Kazan, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the great writer, philosopher, public figure Chingiz Aitmatov ”

The main directions of the conference:

  • national literatures in the cultural space of Russia (second half of the twentieth century);
  • the search for ways to master reality in national literatures of the second half of the 20th century;
  • history of national literatures of the 2nd half of the twentieth century: the general and the particular;
  • reception of creativity of Ch. Aitmatov in national literatures of Russia;
  • socio-philosophical, socio-political, aesthetic and linguistic aspects of the artistic, publicistic and epistolary heritage of C. Aitmatov;
  • the works by C. Aitmatov in the literary space of the Ural-Volga region;
  • Chingiz Aitmatov and national arts;
  • topical issues of teaching creativity of C.Aitmatov in schools and universities.

 

Within the framework of the conference a panel discussion “What is national literature?” will be organized.

Conference working languages: Tatar, Russian.

Scientists, researchers, university professors, methodologists, graduate students, applicants are invited to participate in the conference.

The coordinator of the scientific-practical conference is the Institute of Language, Literature and Art  after  G. Ibragimova,  RT  Academy of Sciences.

The conference will be held at the address: Kazan, st. Bauman, 20 (Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan).
