October 18, a press conference was held at the agency “Bashinform” devoted to the activities of the regional national- cultural autonomy of Tatars (RNCAT) of the Republic of Bashkortostan. During the communication between press conference participants with reporters, an issue was considered on preservation of national family traditions of Tatar nation.
– Role of the national-cultural autonomies is to preserve language, traditions and culture of the nation. Tatar nation, and in particular our organization, we all find the support of the Republican Government – said chairman of the RB regional national-cultural autonomy of the Tatars, deputy of the National Assembly of Bashkortostan Rimma Utiasheva said. – RNCAT includes people of different professions, but they all want to preserve ethnic harmony. Today, a role of NGOs has grown.
According to Rimma Utiasheva, preservation of culture and language of the nation, above all, begins from the family.
– We are concerned with the youth and families in which children are abandoned, do not get the attention of parents. Therefore, the work of NGOs should not be a one-day, but a constant one, it must help the authorities on the spot. To preserve the culture of all peoples, a systematic work should be carried out consistently and in conjunction with all the social activists – head RNCAT holds.
– Among Tatars, old traditions are passed down from generation to generation. Family – is, above all, the union of loving ones. It is important also to respect parents, love children, express mutual assistance. Preservation of language begins in the family, the role of parents is very high – said Rimma Utiasheva.
We remind that in Bashkortostan, currently, there are more than one million Tatars live in the territory of the republic, and over 20 public Tatar organizations are active.
