Tatar grandmother wins competition “Ethno-grandmother”

The first ethno-grandmother contest was held in the Udmurt city of Mozhga on September 29. It was attended by 12 grandmothers who represented Russian, Udmurt, Tatar, Chuvash and Mari cultures.
The participants walked around the stage in national costumes, sang in their native language, and danced with their children and grandchildren. The first place was taken by the Tatar grandmother Luciya Galiyeva, she also has won the “Audience Award” for the best dish and an exhibition of handicrafts.
