The first Tatar dictation in Paris

October 29,2018

The first Tatar dictation took place in Paris. The Parisian community of French Tatars in the face of the association “Dom  France-Tatarstan”  has joined the famous educational action. The site of the event was the Pushkin Institute, located on the banks of the Seine.

The participants wrote an excerpt from the work  Nechkabil  by the prominent Tatar writer Abdulla Alish. The text was dictated by Aliya Gilmullina, a researcher at the French Institute for Agricultural Research.

One of the participants, Rosa Sadrieva, who lives in the city of Versailles, specially came to the dictation to check the level of knowledge of the native language. “The dictation was not easy, but the main thing is participation,” she happily shared at the end of the action.

Syuyumbika Sabitova, the youngest participant in dictation, admitted that since some of the words were new, she had to write by ear.

Head of the Pushkin Institute in Paris, Tatyana Sokolova, stressed that it is always nice to see compatriots “who maintain a close  connection with their homeland.”

Fantastic post but I was wondering if you could write a litte more on this subject?

I’d be very grateful if you could elaborate a little bit further.
    Kudos!
