October 2 and 11, gala concerts of the III Republican festival of amateur RT veteran-singers “Balkysh” (“Shine”) will be held. The festival has been taking place since 2012 with the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

First of all, the festival is aimed at the preservation and enrichment of the Tatar national culture as well as presentation of the elderly in the cultural field, demonstrating their thirst for life and active participation in it. “Balkysh” can be a great event for those who want to enjoy the Creative arts.

Also, no less important part of the festival is development of spiritual and moral consciousness of the younger generation. Veterans also be please to feel support of young people. Within the framework of the festival “Balkysh” – participants of retirement age and veterans will have to show the level of their skills and technique, artistry and emotion.

At the gala, on October 2, the winners of the festival from 24 municipal regions of Tatarstan will perform , according to organizers.
