Vasil Shaikhraziev visited the Bashkir Pedagogical University

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaikhraziev, in the framework of his working visit to the Republic of Bashkortostan, visited the M.Akmulla Bashkir Pedagogical University. Here he familiarized  with the activities of the Tatar philology department and with the rooms devoted to G. Tukai and K. Nasyri.

350 students study at the Tatar Language and Literature Department of the Bashkir State University. In 2016, the K. Nasyri Center opened here. Courses on studying the Tatar language are held here, various tests and events take place.

The honor of the 100th anniversary of the arrival of G.Tukai in Ufa in the building of the university  a teaching and methodical memorial room opened. Here Vasil Shaikhraziev met with the rector and the leadership of the department of the Tatar language and literature and with students.  Chairman of the National Council noted the importance of training national personnel, spoke about the International Competition of  Jalil Readings and suggested making the center K. Nasyri a venue for this event. He also urged to take an active part in the action “Tatarcha Dictation”, and marked that it is planned to attract 100,000 people to the action this year.
