The Ural Sanduguchi festival (the Ural Nightingale) will be held in Yekaterinburg on March 30-31.

In order to develop and mutually enrich national cultures, identify new talents in the pop and folk song genre, establish creative contacts with performers living in other regions of Russia and foreign countries, the Open Interregional Festival of Tatar Song Performers is held annually in the capital of the Middle Urals. Ural sandugachy “(” Ural Nightingale “).

The “Ural Sanduguchi” festival is also a regional qualifying round of the “Tatar mony” International Television Competition.

In 2019, the first qualifying round of the International Television Competition “Tatar Mony” for participants in the Urals and Siberia will be held March 30-31, 2019 as part of the Open Interregional Festival-Competition of Tatar Song Performers “Ural Sanduguchi” (“Ural Nightingale”). We remind that in 2017, by decision of the jury, 4 vocalists were chosen  to participate in the contest “Tatar mony”: Kalmykova-Barkhitdinova Elvina (Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sverdlovsk region), Cypysheva Gulnaz (Ufa), Nugayev Ilnur (Yekaterinburg), Liana Kutlueva (Ekaterinburg) and Alexander Puzakov, a instrumentalist (Mikhailovsk, Sverdlovsk Region). Honored artists of Tatarstan Vil Usmanov, Farida Akhmetshina, Alsou Sungatullina, laureate of the International Television Competition “Tatar Mony” Aynur Muratov worked in the jury.

The contest “Tatar Mony” has been held since 2009. Among his goals are the propaganda of Tatar folk songs and works by Tatar composers, the introduction of youth to national cultural values, the identification and support of talented young performers, the development of their creative potential.

Along with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic, the contest organizers also include the Foundation for the Support of Cultural Development under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the VCT Executive Committee, New Century TV and Radio Company, KazGIK and Variety Theater Salavat.

Every year Tatar Mony opens dozens of new names of folk song performers and works by classics of Tatar musical culture, including Rishat Tukhvatullin, Marcel Vagizov, Artur Islamov, Ilyus Khuzin, Alina Prokofyeva, Aigul Saginbayeva, Irek Fattakhov and others, celebrate at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan .
