February 7 at the stadium “Dynamo” the final stage of the traditional open tournament koresh for the Cup of the Head of the City Administration took place. The current tournament gathered on its site more than 70 batyrs from different cities and regions of the republic who fought for the main prize – the car. To each stage the participants were trained very carefully.
Participants of the event, guests of the ceremony, sports fans were welcomed by the head of the capital’s municipality Irek Yalalov.
– Wrestling koresh – a special kind of sport with its traditions, developed for centuries. Organizing the tournament, we pursued the goal of preserving national traditions and making the national wrestling more popular, “said Irek Ishmukhametovich.
So, the final bouts in the weight categories up to 60, 70, 80, 90 kg, 90 kg and above, revealed the best koresh wrestlers of the year. They were Almaz Yenikeyev, Artur Zulkarnaev, Albert Rakhmatullin, Aigiz Zainetdinov and Radif Akchurin.
Medals and memorable prizes were given to the winners by the vice-president of the Federation of the Russian Federation (Moscow) Ravil Nogumanov, veteran of sports, master of sports of the RSFSR koresh Fanis Urazbakhtin, the chairman of the Board of Directors of Gosstroy Kyril Badikov, composer Rim Khasanov and others.
The owner of the main prize – the car, became Aigiz Zaynetdinov!
