Zulya Kamalova completed work on the album “Alty kөn Yaratu”

On  Label Yummy Music an album of singer Zulya Kamalova “Alty kөn Yarata” (translated as “Six Days of Love”) has been released. The album is based on the cycle of poems  by  the same name by the Tatar poetess Yoldyz Minnullina and, according to Kamalova, represents “a subtle and slightly ironic look at the tangled world of a person who has just fallen in love.” “Inda” publishes “Alty kon yarata” together with the singer’s commentary.

 

Zulya Kamalova: “This work would not have been without two people – the Dutch musician Michel Hollanders and the Tatar poet Yoldyz Minnullina.

 

The album is mainly based on poems from the cycle “Alty kөn yaratu”, but  besides  two songs (“Bar da Uzzku” and “Kaytu”) other Yoldyz poems sound. She wrote the words on “Kaytu” especially for the album. It seems to me that “Kaytu” became an interesting experience for her, because in this poem she seems to be answering herself during the times of the “Alty kөn Yaratu” cycle.
