During the festive celebration of Sabantuy in the capital of Abkhazia, the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, presented state awards to activists of Tatar public organizations from the republic.

For their significant contribution to the preservation and development of Tatar national culture, as well as for their active community service, the activities of activists from the “Duslyk” (Friendship) society were recognized with the republic’s highest award.

Radik Rinatovich Ilalov, a member of the Tatar Cultural and Educational Society “Duslyk,” was awarded the Medal of the Republic of Tatarstan “For Valiant Labor.” This high distinction was given in recognition of his many years of fruitful work.

In addition, for their substantial contribution to cultural life, Saniya Mingalimova, Deputy Chairperson of the “Duslyk” society, and Rinat Ramazanov, a member of the “Duslyk” society, were honored with letters of gratitude from the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Head of Tatarstan expressed his gratitude to the Tatar community of Abkhazia for their efforts in promoting the national heritage.
