In the Admiralteyskaya Sloboda, volunteers from the “Tom Sawyer Fest” have begun restoring an old residential house at No. 37 on Stolyarov Street. More than 20 volunteers are taking part in the work.

Under the guidance of professional restorers, the activists are cleaning the facade and preparing the building for further restoration.

It is known that the building was constructed in the first half of the 20th century in the traditional Tatar style. At one time, it was considered one of the adornments of Stolyarov Street.

Currently, only the first stage of the facade restoration is underway. Anyone wishing to join in the preservation of Kazan’s historical heritage is welcome to participate.
