From July 6 to 9, 2026, the All-Russian festival of family creativity “Family of Russia” was held in Orenburg under the motto “Harmony in the family – unity in the country,” timed to coincide with the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.
The project contributes to achieving the goals and objectives of the federal project “Family Values and Cultural Infrastructure” within the national project “Family”.
The event brought together 20 families from 16 regions of the country and was held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The organizers of the festival were the State Russian House of Folk Art named after V.D. Polenov, the Ministry of Culture of Orenburg Oblast, and the Regional Center for the Development of Culture of Orenburg Oblast.
Over the course of three eventful days, participants got acquainted with the culture of Orenburg region, exchanged experiences, took part in excursions, master classes, and concerts, and the culmination of the festival was a Gala Concert at the Orenburg Regional Philharmonic.
The Republic of Tatarstan was brightly and worthily represented at this large-scale celebration by the Sharifullin family ensemble from the Verkhne-Shitsinsky Rural House of Culture of the Sabinsky municipal district. Their performance, filled with national color, sincerity, and artistry, captivated the audience and the jury, becoming one of the most memorable numbers of the Gala Concert.
The festival concluded with a ceremonial Parade of Families and a festive concert on the embankment, and its main outcome reminded everyone: harmony in every family is the very foundation of the unity of our great country.
