From the early morning of May 18, delegates of the VIII All-Russian Forum of Tatar religious figures "National Identity and Religion" began to gather in the building of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars for registration.

Honorary guests of Sabantui became representatives from 44 regions of Russia, where today the Tatars live. In the Astrakhan region itself, there are now more than 60,000 Tatars, and they are the third largest in the region.
