Tatarstan will take part in planning a cycle of federal and international events dedicated to the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay in 2036.
The exhibition was prepared by the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Street Art Research Institute, the State Museum of the East, and the Marjani Foundation.
Today, May 12, a press conference dedicated to the 16th All-Russian Forum of Tatar Religious Figures took place at the building of the World Congress of the Tatars.
During the event, Tatar melodies and songs set to the poet's verses were performed. Attendees also had the opportunity to view the book exhibition "The Magical World of Tukay".
On the eve of Victory Day, a solemn flower-laying ceremony was held in Nizhnevartovsk at the monument to the Tatar poet and Hero of the Soviet Union, Musa Jalil.
According to the festival program, on May 9, the Almetyevsk Drama Theatre's production "Ezelgen key" directed by Sardar Tagirovski will be shown on the main stage of the National Theatre.
