As part of a working trip to Chelyabinsk Oblast, Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars, visited the “Teremok” kindergarten in the village of Kunashak. The visit was timed to coincide with the “Children’s Sabantuy” holiday, which is aimed at introducing the younger generation to Tatar national culture.

Vasil Shaykhraziev highly praised the work of the preschool institution’s teaching staff in preserving national traditions and fostering children’s interest in their native language. During the holiday, Vasil Gabtelgayazovich presented each child with books in the Tatar language and the main treat from Kazan — fresh chak-chak.

Such meetings play an important role in shaping the ethnocultural identity of children and strengthening ties between regions.
