The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan arrived on a working trip to Mari El to take part in the events of the XXIV federal Sabantuy, which has been held since 2001 on the initiative of the Executive Committee of the World Tatar Congress.

Federal Sabantuy is celebrated in Yoshkar-Ola from July 5 to 6. More than 500 delegates from 72 regions of Russia came to the celebration.

The program includes exhibitions and fairs, Tatar and Mari pop concerts, equestrian competitions and more.

The short list for the XX Kazan International Film Festival, “Altyn Minbar” is formed. The official selection of the forum, which will take place in the capital of Tatarstan from September 6 to 11, includes 51 films

The celebration will take place at the Medvedev Hippodrome on July 5-6. More than 500 delegates from 72 regions of Russia will visit the republic.

Tatar national music and dances were performed, Azerbaijani and Tatar national dishes were presented, and various competitions were held.

During the grand opening of the Tatar national holiday Sabantuy in Grozny, awards were presented.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev.
