At the meeting representatives from different parts of Russia told about their business experience and issues of supporting of Tatar language and traditions.
Traditionally, the festival will select the winners of the Grand Prix, which provides a certificate for studying at a university in a media related field.
The opening of the championship, dedicated to the memory of the internationalist warrior Minhaider Valitov, awarded the Order of the Red Star, was held under the auspices of the chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic, Mansur Hazrat Khaibullov.
This year, more than 400 people took part in the competition. The youngest participant is 5 years old, and the oldest, Khimiya Shakiryanova, is 90 years old.
The Miras Festival was founded in 2015 by the artistic director and chief conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan, People's Artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Sladkovsky.
The main task is to find the most effective ways of interaction between cultural and scientific institutions to preserve and popularize the scientist’s heritage.
