Today, at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, the grand opening of the exhibition “Song of the Native Land”, which represents the work of the Tatar artist Ramzia Zinnatova, took place. The exhibition is dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan and in preparation for celebration of the 100th anniversary of the TASSR.
The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region Renat Valiullin addressed the guests with an opening speech. He welcomed all those present and thanked Ramzia Zinnatova for her invaluable contribution to the preservation of the traditions of the Tatar people. Then, the artist herself presented her works, talked about how her works were created.
At the exhibition, guests got acquainted only with a small part of her work – with canvases illustrating her fidelity to the national theme in her work: traditional motifs in a national costume and interior, dear to the person’s heart. These canvases are written in the best traditions of a realistic school.
The exhibition will be open until the end of October.
