December 6 on the base of the village school Kamyshla of  Kamyshlinsky district  an Olympiad in the Tatar language and literature among pupils  in grades 9-11 and a competition of readers among students in grades 6-11 of schools in the Samara region will be held . There will also be a contest  among teachers of the Tatar language and literature for the title “Teacher of the Year”.

The organizers of the event are the Samara State Institute for Advanced Studies of Educational Workers, the Tatar Oblast Society “Tugan Tel” and the administration of the SBEI secondary school of the village  Kamyshla.

Students from the Kamyshlinsky, Shentalinsky, Pokhvistnevsky districts and the Yaktylyk school of Samara will take part in the Olympiad and in the competition of readers.

The purpose of the Olympiad is to inculcate interest in learning the native language and literature, introducing students to the world of traditional folk culture, identifying, selecting and developing capable and gifted children.
