During the meeting of the National Council, the Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars Danis Shakirov spoke about the activities of the WCT in 2022.

He concluded that the new committees were created following the results of the VIII Congress of the WCT.

“After the VIII Congress, some structural changes took place in our organization: Bayazit Zaidullin became responsible for coordinating work with religious organizations, Zufar Valiakhmetov leads the sports direction, Bulat Ibragimov leads work with Tatar mass media in the regions of Russia,” said Danis Shakirov.
